Kingdom writers don't retreat, they advance!
Each year, we gather a group of writers for a time of refreshing, renewal, and reactivation. Participants discover an open portal of creativity and a deeper sense of their assignment as a Kingdom writer. Whether it's in the local mountains of Southern California or the grounds where Tolkien and Lewis walked in Oxford, England, the experience is life-changing.

*If you are flying in for this event then email me (braewyckoff@gmail.com) for further instructions. We will have a sleeping bag and pillow for you so you don't have to pack and travel with that on the plane. This is only provided for those who are flying in. There are 4 different airports you can fly into so check pricing. San Diego, John Wayne, Los Angeles, and Ontario. We do NOT supply pick-up at airports so you are responsible for getting yourself to Idyllwild, renting a car, etc.

San Diego airport code is (SAN) and is 2 hours and 15 minutes drive (113 miles).
John Wayne airport code is (SNA) is about a 2-hour drive (99 miles).
Ontario airport code is (ONT) is about an hour and 30 minutes away (70 miles).
Los Angeles (LAX) is about 2 hours and 30 minutes away (122 miles).
There's nothing like gathering in the fresh mountain air, surrounded by God's glorious nature and like-minded writers and creatives!

Join us in the beautiful mountain city of Idyllwild where we'll celebrate what God is doing in and through each of us. This small community setting lends itself beautifully for activities, ministry, prophetic creative expression, coaching, activation, free time, and filling up on the goodness of God.

LIMITED SPACE AVAILABLE! Please note that this is a lodge setting with dorm-style sleeping arrangements. Special arrangements can be made for those with disabilities.

Price for members is $375, and non-members is $425. This includes lodging in Emerson Lodge and food.

Oxford Writers Advance
Due to Covid, Oxford has been postponed. Date TBA. Please consider joining us next time!
Join us for this life-changing trip and be inspired by the same city that inspired some of the greatest authors of all time.
​
Along with teaching by Brae, Jill, and special guest author Mark Stibbe (whose father was mentored by C.S. Lewis), we will dine in the pubs where the inklings gathered, tour the home of C.S. Lewis, and see the Narnia window in his home church. We'll stroll Addison's walk where C.S. Lewis walked with Tolkien and Hugo Dyson till the wee hours of the morning discussing Christianity. We'll visit Tolkien's grave; tour the oldest family-owned bookstore in the world; visit the Bodleian Library, and so much more. And we'll still have plenty of free time for you to explore!
